The Canadian Language Index Proficiency Program is a language testing initiative used by the government of Canada for immigration purposes such applications under the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Program, Federal Skilled Trades Worker (FSTW) Program, Canadian Experience Class category, for Start Up Visas, or Provincial Nominee Programs. This assessment evaluates applicants listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills (the CELPIP LS only evaluates listening and speaking skills) in reference to functionality in daily life, as well as in thw work place and community contexts according to the Canadian Language Benchmark. The program is uniquely Canadian and designed in Vancouver. Our program instructors and administrators are native Canadians and use Canadian dialects and vocabulary, following the practical motivations of CELPIP creators.
Lessons are delivered in a modular structure. The S.K.I.L.L.S. program contains modules for each of the four points of assessment criteria corresponding to each Canadian Language Benchmark level ranging from 3 to 9. Each module culminates with an examination to determine if you should advance to the next level.

Class materials encourage immersion into English language environments and focus on strategies you can use to achieve this, regardless of your current place of residence. All course material is delivered in accordance with the S.K.I.L.L.S. innovative and open online learning platform. Written materials are composed simply and effectively and are supplemented by our webinar format. Each student is assigned a Personal Program Administrator who will select and assign class resource material.
